11.ELECTRICAL/SYSTEM INTERCONNECT ENGINEER
Electrical Engineer will initially focus on designing highly reliable interconnect systems for motion control and feedback applications. Designs will include electrical wiring harnesses within mechanical positioning systems, junction boxes, adapter units, and cables between various types of instrumentation in both indoor and outdoor applications. Designs must be robust to provide compatibility between high power motor drives and sensitive feedback devices. Besides system interconnect design, this position will evolve to offer a variety of other technical challenges such as integrating control systems with positioning systems and systems engineering. Occasional travel may be required.
This position requires a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, 5 or more years of interconnect system design, and knowledge and experience in the following areas:

9. Industrial Engineer
Function:
Develop and conduct industrial engineering assignments to develop new methods, work process designs, cost estimates, and resolve engineering problems involved in manufacturing of standard parts or products.
Principle Responsibilities:
1. Establishes work measurement programs and analyzes work samples to develop standards for labor utilization.
2. Analyzes work force utilization, facility layout, and operational data such as production costs, process flow charts, and production schedules to determine efficient utilization of workers and equipment.
3. Recommends methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities such as restructuring job duties, reorganizing work stations and equipment, and purchase of equipment.
4. Provides ergonomic evaluation of work stations and procedures.
5. Develops cost justifications for the purchase of equipment.
6. Participates in the gathering, recording and classifying of production information as it pertains to Bills of Materials and Routings. Works with finance and management to accurately classify production costs.

8. Production Planning and Control Manager
Function:
To oversee and participate in the development and implementation of master production schedules which meet the requirements of customers and management. To oversee the analysis and reporting of production and performance results compared to set targets. To assist in long term planning for production output requirements.
Principle Responsibilities:
1. Creation of the master production schedules along with area specific requirements (machining sheets, programming, etc.) that maximizes on time performance while balancing production output to agreed upon capacity levels.
2. Act as liaison between Sales and Manufacturing on a daily basis. Keep Sales updated on current production schedules. Keep Production aware of changes in sales demand. Coordinate with Production Manager the requirements to maintain the production plan.
3. Coordinate the inventory and production plans to insure material availability to support the master schedule.
4. Participates in developing resolutions to issues that delay or alter production schedules.
5. Reviews production levels to monitor performance versus targeted standards.
6. Participates with Production Manager in the development of long term production forecasting.

7: Job Summary – (Role Summary)
The primary role of the Staff Engineer is to work within the discipline team to perform various engineering design and technical analysis activities. The Staff Engineer is responsible for knowing Colonial Pipeline Company (CPC) engineering standards, procedures and safe work practices and should be able to work with minimal oversight or guidance. The Staff Engineer will also be required to know and understand the Liquid Petroleum Transportation Industry's regulatory requirements. The Staff Engineer will become familiar with CPC's pipeline system operations, system equipment and the techniques and methodology for system technical analysis.
The Staff Engineer position is a technical position within the Engineering and Project Management Services Team that requires the incumbent to be trained in the practical application of engineering and design activities for refined liquid petroleum pipeline systems and their related facilities including hazardous area classification and design.
This position provides electrical engineering technical expertise, leadership and engineering analysis to complete a wide variety of difficult engineering assignments, applying electrical engineering techniques and analyses to improve facilities safety, reliability, & efficiency. The Staff Engineer is proficient in the utilization of accepted engineering theories and practices, understands and analyzes complex electrical issues including power systems up to the 230 kV range; Electrical Engineering Studies, including Short Circuit, Load Flow, Arc Fault Analysis, Power Factor correction and Protective Device Coordination. The Staff Engineer receives work assignments from the Team Leader but works primarily to complete assigned engineering tasks.
Job Responsibilities – (Key Activities)
¨ Understand and work within the organizational structure and functional responsibilities of the engineering team.
¨ Understand and work within the functional processes, required interfaces and desired outputs necessary to properly perform his/her assigned duties.
¨ Participate on teams to evaluate/implement/upgrade specialty engineered equipment such as low and medium voltage switchgear, high voltage substations, large induction motors, soft starts, VFDs, UPS, PLCs, automation equipment, etc.
¨ Participate in troubleshooting electrical problems; lead the analysis of electrical equipment including large motors root cause failure and motor sizing / interchange; develop alternatives, and propose & implement solutions for long-term reliability.

¨ Periodic monitoring of adherence to design drawings throughout construction; and coordinate the development of facility as-built drawings when installations are complete at the job site.
¨ Maintain and update engineering standards / specifications / procedures.
¨ Communicate technical ideas to a wide range of groups.
¨ Facilitate meetings of cross-functional teams, support Colonial's organizational structure, and its corporate policies and procedures. Teach/mentor others.
¨ Prepare information to be utilized with preventive maintenance programs for the pipeline system's major components: mainline, tanks, pumps, motors, valves, meters and control systems.
¨ Coordinate with operations management, technicians and vendors as required to affect periodic preventive maintenance and integrity reviews and technical training activities for the pipeline operating systems.
